There are a few ways to get to Berneray:
- Ferry from Uig, Skye (5hr 15min drive from Glasgow) to Lochmaddy, North Uist (1hr 45min sailing) then 20min drive to Berneray
- Ferry from Mallaig (3hr 35min drive from Glasgow) to Lochboisdale, South Uist (3hr 30min sailing), then 1hr 30min drive to Berneray
- Fly from Glasgow Airport to Benbecula Airport (1hr flight), where you can hire a car (50min drive to Berneray)
